The SERION ELISA classic West Nile Virus IgG and IgM tests are qualitative and quantitative immunoassays for the demonstration of human IgG or IgM antibodies in serum or plasma directed against West Nile Virus. The SERION ELISA classic West Nile Virus IgM test allows for the detection of acute infections. The SERION ELISA classic West Nile Virus IgG test is recommended for demonstration of contact with the pathogen, determination of the immune status and epidemiological studies.

We are pleased to be able to report that the use of virus-like particles (VLPs) composed of the recombinant virus protein VP2, as an alternative antigen for our quantitative SERION ELISA classic Parvovirus B19 IgM test, has further improved its diagnostic efficiency. The expression of this antigen in baculovirus-infected insect cells ensures the correct formation of its tertiary structure, which – as a consequence – facilitates the detection of antibodies directed against conformational epitopes. This antigen is already used for the production of our well established SERION ELISA classic Parvovirus B19 IgG test.
CIVTEST SUIS MHYO gives quantitative information, which makes it suitable for serological monitoring on vaccinated farms. It differentiates well between vaccinated and vaccinated/challenged animals.
