Medium with a low content in tryptophan

Packaging

Suspend 12.6 grams of the dehydrated medium in one liter of distilled water. Heat with frequent agitation until complete dissolution.

Sterilize in the autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool down to room temperature; under sterile conditions add 25 ml of a sterile 20% glucose solution and 1 ml of 100 µg/ml of ampiciline. Mix well. Store at 4°C. The color of the prepared medium is amber.
