Selective supplement for Neisseria and Haemophilus isolation

Packaging

Aseptically reconstitute 1 vial of Polyenrichment Growth Supplement (vial A)with 1 vial of Polyenrichment Restoring Solution (vial B).

Mix gently until complete dissolution and aseptically add to 500 ml of GC AGAR BASE (Cat.1106),autoclaved,cooled to 50 °C and with 2% hemoglobin solution added.Mix well and distribute into sterile containers.

If desired,this supplement can also be added to COLUMBIA AGAR BASE(Cat.1104),BLOOD AGAR BASE (Cat.1108)or BRUCELLA AGAR BASE (Cat.1012).

FOR 5 L

Aseptically reconstitute 1 vial of Polyenrichment Growth supplement (vial A) with 1 vial of Polyenrichment Restoring solution (vial B). Mix gently until complete dissolution and aseptically add to 5000 ml of G.C. AGAR BASE (Cat. 1106), autoclaved, cooled to 50 and added with 2% of hemoglobine solution. . Mix well and distribute into sterile containers.

FOR A BETTER DISSOLUTION:

Alternativelly, dissolve the vial A with 10 ml of sterile distilled water, warmed to 45 and aseptically add it along with vial B to the final medium, as previously described.

If desired, this supplement can also be added to Columbia Agar Base (Cat. 1104), Blood Agar Base (Cat. 1108), Brucella Agar Base (Cat.1012) or Eugon Agar (Cat. 1036).
